On January 13th, 2012, Traffick Free Pomona gave Eleven Freedom Bags to the Victim Specialist for the F.B.I. , Debbie Deem. These bags will be given to the girls rescued from prostitution,w ho are released with nothing but the clothes they were picked up in. We will continue to collaborate with law enforcement and victim services by providing these bags, which contained many items that the girls will need. Blankets, food, HBA’s, clothing, journals and many other items are contained within these bags, as well as a bible and information for receiving help to leave the situation of exploitation. What these bags contain are exhibitions of love expressed by the many people who participated in this project. Traffick Free Pomona would like to thank Debbie and everyone who put their hope and love into these bags. For a photo of the exchange, please go to our Facebook page. Thank you!!

The commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) is a heartbreaking crisis that has only recently begun to be addressed in San Bernardino County. Forgotten Children, Inc. is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that has been doing street outreach with sexually exploited women for over 6 years on the streets of Lynwood and Compton. Recently, Forgotten Children, Inc. joined the Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation with the goal of providing training to volunteers who have an interest in doing street outreach in San Bernardino County.
This training will give you the information you need to decide whether street outreach work is something you’d like to do and information about the drop-in center that’s being planned for the City of San Bernardino
